ALMAS CHUKIN

Mr. Chukin started his professional career as an Associate Professor of Political Economy and later became involved with financial sector activities in governmental and business institutions. He held positions in the Ministry of Economy and Finance, served as Charge d'Affaires at the Kyrgyz Embassy in USA.

He worked as a Deputy Chairman of Kazyna Capital Management; as a Deputy Chairman of the Halyk Bank Management Board; as a President of Compass asset management company; and as a Managing Director of Visor Holding investment company.

Currently, Mr. Chukin is the Member of the Board of Directors of Visor Holding investment company.

Mr. Chukin graduated with honors from Economics Department and is a holder of a post-graduate degree in Political Economy, both received at Moscow State University.
