The “Canto” Student Theatre has been established under the Arts and Sports Program. Its activities are directed toward spiritual and creative development, and raising students’ cultural level by arranging for students not majoring in the arts to participate in musical performances. “Canto” gives an opportunity to students to discover their creative abilities. The theatre is a non-profit organization.
Its main objectives are
- to produce musical performances of different genres including musicals, operettas and operas
- to introduce the world of musical culture
- to introduce to the language cultures of various nations
- to teach vocal and dramatic arts
- to reveal and develop students’ talents.
