The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a computer-adaptive standardized test in mathematics and the English language for measuring aptitude to succeed academically in graduate business studies. Business schools use the test as a criterion for admission into graduate business administration programs. The GMAT test is broken up into three sections: 1) Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) 2) Verbal Section 3) Quantitative Section Problem Solving questions assess basic mathematical skills and understanding, and basic reasoning skills. Some of the questions are word problems, in which you must reason with a common scenario. Data Sufficiency questions assess your ability to analyze a quantitative problem, and determine which information is relevant and sufficient to finding a solution. |
