The Center for Continuing Education - 5 years!

Celebrate with us!

The Center for Continuing Education at the American University of Central Asia celebrates its fifth anniversary. During its short period of existence, the centre has acquired a reputation as a reliable partner and a successful provider of educational services in the region.

Our achievements:

The Center of Continuing Education has created more than 100 programs for applicants, students and professionals, including language, computer, communication, business courses and trainings.

Over the past 5 years, more than 6,000 pupils, students, employees, organizations and companies have participated in courses and trainingsat the center.

Our participants represent over 50 leading companies and organizations in Kyrgyzstan, including the NBKR, Kyrgyztelecom, Sky Mobile, Reemtsma - Kyrgyzstan, COCA-COLA Bishkek, Kalikova & Associates, Demir Bank, others.

A notable program was funded by a grant from NATO. The goal of the course was to retrain the military and help prepare them for civilian life.  The program was called, "Entrepreneurship: Small Business Management",and it succeeded in training and delivering certificates to 40 military personnel from various law enforcement agencies in Kyrgyzstan.

The center also won a grant from the European Union to take English courses for staff of the Ministry of Education and the Agency for Vocational and Technical Education. Over 30 employees of these agencies have been trained.

It is also important to mention the Center’s School of Political Management, where more than 40 students have graduated.  Our graduates continue to use the skills they have acquired to help successfully develop civil society and political parties in Kyrgyzstan.

The Center looks forward to the future, with plans to help create programs for children, teachers, and enrichment programs for culture and the arts.

Developing others develops ourselves!
