AIDA BEKTUROVA

Aida Bekturova is an AUCA alumna, graduated with honors from the Department of Sociology in 2005. She went on to continue working in the sphere of social and marketing research at a private research company BRiF Research Group in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Aida finished her graduate studies at Lund University, Sweden, and obtained her Master of Science degree in Development Studies in 2010.

Aida's research interests include internal migration, role of remittances, rural development, livelihood strategies, role of agriculture in economic development.
