Current Research

1. Research project: Chinese Influence in Kyrgyzstan

The People’s Republic of China looms like a gargantuan over the republics of Central Asia. Beijing’s economic might can bring tremendous benefits to the developing economies of the region, but not without associated challenges. Through a study of economic indicators, domestic perceptions and political trends in Kyrgyzstan, this research will aim to assess the aims, achievements and limitations of China’s Central Asian strategy. 

 

2. Business Intelligence Analysis for the Risk Advisory Group

Ongoing business-climate analysis in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan for the London-based Risk Advisory Group.
