MINOR REQUIREMENTS

 

ANTHROPOLOGY MINOR

 

The minor in Anthropology will allow students to develop a specialized understanding of cultural analysis and its application to human history and societies around the world. Through the Anthropology minor a broad knowledge of the methods and findings of the study of human cultures will be made accessible to people whose interests and careers depend upon understanding of human lives in a comparative perspective. the anthropology minor will be particularly useful for students pursuing careers that involve international political, social and culturelations, since deep insights into human diversity and skills in cultural analysis are so crucial to effective intercultural cooperation and communication.
