MINOR REQUIREMENTS

SOCIOLOGY MINOR REQUIREMENTS

Students must complete 21 credits to receive a minor in Sociology, five out of which are required and two can be selected from other Sociology courses. All of the courses below can be replaced by courses similar in content and of the same level or higher by the decision of the department.

Introduction to Sociology (required)	3 credits
Classical Social Theory (required)	3 credits
Contemporary Social Theory (required)	3 credits
Qualitative Research Methods (required)	3 credits
Quantitative Research Methods (required)	3 credits
Social Divisions in Society (strongly recommended)	3 credits
Sociology of Culture (strongly recommended)	3 credits
