NGA ADMISSIONS EXAMS



PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO NGA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS. STUDENTS APPLYING FOR AN NGA SCHOLARSHIP CAN ACCESS THE RELEVANT INFORMATION UNDER THE NGA SCHOLARSHIP WEBPAGE.


All applicants must take the AUCA NGA Program Entrance Exam, pass an AUCA TOELP test, or pass an official test of English language proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS) and score:

 

  • 420 and above on TOEFL PBT or AUCA TOELP;
  • 36 and above on TOEFL iBT; or
  • 5 and above on IELTS.

 

The NGA Program Entrance Exam is meant to evaluate an applicant’s English language abilities and determine which level of instruction is appropriate for the student.

 

The NGA Program Entrance Exam consists of the following sections:


  • Grammar – 15 Multiple-choice Questions
  • Reading Comprehension – 15 Multiple-choice Questions
  • Written Essay

 

 

Registration for NGA Program Entrance Exam
To register for the AUCA Institutional Entrance Exams, students must first submit an application for admissions to NGA Program with the proper application fee of 500 Kyrgyz Soms ($15 US Dollars).

After submitting an application for admission, applicants will be contacted about arrangements for the NGA Program Entrance Exam.

Note: Those with an English language test score equivalent to 420 on the TOEFL PBT/ AUCA TOELP are exempted from taking the NGA Program’s Entrance Exam and must only sit for an interview.

Entrance Exam Dates

The NGA Program Entrance Exams will take place on July 16-20, 2012. To sit for the exams offered in July, students must apply no later than July 12, 2012.
