COURSE REGULATIONS

Students who wish to take more than the usual 18 credits per semester are required to get the approval of the relevant Program Chair, the Registrar and the Dean of Academic Affairs.
Only senior students are allowed to exceed the 18 credit limit, and they can take a maximum of 3 extra credits per year.
To take extra credits a student is expected:

to have a cumulative GPA not lower than 3
to have earned 105 credits at the beginning of the fall semester

A student may be required to study longer than 4 years or to take summer school classes to earn the required 144 credits towards graduation. This also applies to students who participate in programs abroad.
Likewise, if a student participates in any program abroad (UGRAD, Work and Travel, etc.) it is still his/her responsibility to complete all requirements of AUCA programs, even if it means that the student must study for longer than 4 years.
