"Urbanism" specialization

The humankind is becoming more and more urban. More than half of world's population (55%) already live in the cities. Future is uran. In our program, students will focus on the contemporary themes that can be studied in the new urban contexts amd take professional courses, which have been developed by our faculty together with the Environmental and Urban Studies program. These courses will provide students with practical knowledge from such fields as Urban Planing, Urban Design, Urban and Regional Development and Environmental Sustainability. We will prepare graduates with strong theoretical basis, knowledge of contemporary urban issues, familiarity with urban planning practices and multiple professional skills, which are so much in demand in the urban settings in Central Asia and beyond.
