FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

How long will I study at the Program?

Our classes start in late August and finish in early May. In fact, we follow the University calendar. To get exact dates for fall break, winter break and spring break check the University’s calendar at http://www.auca.kg/en/academic_calendar/


How much does it cost?

The tuition for one year is currently 3125 USD. However, you may also apply for financial aid. 70 fully-funded scholarships are available for the academic year (2012-2013). See the NGA SCHOLARSHIPS page for more information.

 

Do I have to take a test to be admitted to the NGA?

Yes. You will need to take our Placement Test and participate in an interview.

 

The NGA Program Placement Test consists of the following four sections:

 

  • Sentence Structure (Multiple-choice Questions)
  • Reading Comprehension (Multiple-choice Questions)
  • Short Essay

 

During the interview you will be requested to provide some general information about yourself and answer questions about what you aer thinking of studying at university and what sort of caree you are interested in.

 

Does the Academy provide high school diploma?

No. When applying to NGA you need to already have high school diploma. The certificate that you receive upon completing NGA program is not the same as high school diploma and will not be considered as such when you apply for a university.
