At AUCA you get what you pay for, which means the best education in Central Asia, no hidden fees for grades and exams, and the opportunity to change the world. Furthermore, AUCA is committed to providing financial assistance to talented and hard-working students who demonstrate excellent academic performance and financial need. 90% of all students receive financial assistance, with the average aid package worth KGS 135,000.
The Financial Aid Committee awards all scholarships. In order to be considered for a financial aid award, families must complete a financial aid application and submit it with all requested supporting documents to the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid by the appropriate deadline. Tilek graduated from the software engineering department, and has always loved math. "I realized very young that math is an applied discipline. I use it at Google everyday writing algorithms, and used my skills for my first job, managing the AUCA website."

Natalya, a native of Kazkhstan, received her masters in Human Resource Management from George Washington University in 2010 before joining the Post. "AUCA was comprehensive and all-encompassing. I not only received professional skills, but also developed the ability to think for myself."
Aziz worked as an investment analyst after graduating AUCA, but the entrepreneurial spirit he formed at AUCA through the Students in Free Enterprise and the Kyrgyz Business News Project soon took hold. "AUCA changed my life. I went from ordinary to proactive and goal-oriented."
Kadyr, a journalism major, has reported news from all over Central Asia, interviewing such people as Hillary Clinton. "Critical thinking and academic freedom are what I loved most about AUCA. It is the freest university in the region."
Tina studied multiple languages at AUCA, including Russian and Japanese. She studied Islam and Christianity, and graduated cum laude. "AUCA gave me the confidence to speak in English and Russian, and my 5 years there were some of the most wonderful in my life."
Zahid came to AUCA on scholarship, completing a degree in International and Comparative Politics. He returned to Afghanistan because of the responsibility he felt to his country. "I was educated for this purpose, and it was my wish to return. AUCA gave me critical thinking skills, tolerance, and respect for others."
After graduating from AUCA with a degree in Business Administration, Cholponbek went on to receive his MBA from Harvard Business School. "AUCA's admission process grants opportunities to students from all over, regardless of social/economic status."
The director of "Almaz," and the award-winning "Shaken Zhuldyzdary," Elnura is one of the premier young filmmakers in Central Asia. "Going to AUCA was a benchmark in my life. I joined the Amnesty International club, acted in KVN, wrote for the student paper, The Star, and debated at international tournaments. Most of the best things I have in my life come from AUCA."
Chyngyz is responsible for managing the credit risk for retail lending products. "AUCA has an energetic atmosphere, and provided me with a solid academic foundation and a close circle of friends."
