If you are walking through the administrative offices here at the American University of Central Asia, you might be surprised to find a new nameplate. Where the Development Office used to be, is now the home of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Dr. Karim Zerhouni.

In the modern field of education, technology is increasingly being incorporated into the physical classroom and beyond; and here at the American University of Central Asia both teachers and administration embrace and incorporate new mediums in every aspect of university life.

A new NATO Multimedia Corner is to be opened at AUCA through a grant from the Public Diplomacy Department of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Intended to promote public interest in Kyrgyzstan of NATO activities around the world.

In 2014-2015 CASI will provide reseach grants for AUCA faculty and senior students on a competitive base. Faculty and senior students working on Central Asia in any field of social science are eligible.

AUCA Library in cooperation with the Library & Information Consortium of Kyrgyzstan and EBSCO Information Services offers researchers, graduate students, and teachers to participate in the online conference (webinar) to explore the possibilities of a new information product from the Plum Analytics company – PlumX which designed to help the research and publishing activity.
