A book was released on the researches of AUCA Alumni at the state Parliament
Last week, on September 10, 2014, more than eight AUCA Alumni were awarded by certificates of completing their internship at Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic. The internship was based on studying various social issues in Kyrgyz Republic.

Two months of purity is announced by the Kyrgyz Government
The Kyrgyz Government announces about the clean-up days on Saturdays along two months, September and October.
On September 13th, 2014, AUCA kicked off the first day of the clean-up day. The employees and students of AUCA, headed by President of AUCA, Andrew Wachtel, actively took part in the cleanup of the territories, starting from "Seitek" to Kurmanjan Datka statue.

Three minutes to realize your dreams
August 28, 2014 the orientation activities for new students of the Academy of the New Generation began at AUCA. Within the three days, before the beginning of the academic year, the stuff of NGA introduced students with the academic calendar, faculty, and academic building of the university.

The «Golden Stool» literary club in AUCA has proposed its representative from Kyrgyzstan for the 80th Congress of the PEN-club
From September 24th to the 26th, Bishkek will host the 80th Congress of the PEN-club. Young author Kasim Bazil will represent Kyrgyzstan in this literary forum; he was selected from the “Golden Stool” literary club of American University of Central Asia. Such a large-scale event will be held for the first time not only in Bishkek, but also in the whole CIS. Kyrgyzstan is very proud of being the host for this event.

American University of Central Asia is actively involved in the organization of the First World Nomad Games
From 9th to 14th September, 2014, a unique event will be held in Kyrgyzstan, aiming to improve the country’s image. The opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games was hosted at the hippodrome in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region.
