From June 11–17, 2025, the AUCA Library welcomed four visiting librarians as part of the OSUN Library Staff Mobility Fellowship. The fellows — Palash Bosgang (Bard College, USA), Adelina Barzachka and Radina Kitanova (American University in Bulgaria), and Win Zayar Tun (Parami University, Myanmar) — engaged with the AUCA Library team and actively participated in the “Academic Libraries: Trends and Innovations” conference, held at AUCA on June 12–13.

On Friday, July 11 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Azizi Group, a leading UAE-based real estate and investment company, to provide $500,000 ($260,000 for AY 2025-26 and $240,000 for AY 2026-27) in financial support for the AUCA Afghan students whose education has been disrupted by the suspension of international funding.

The MA program in Central Asian Studies at the American University of Central Asia offers significant tuition discounts for qualified applicants pursuing careers where expertise in Central Asia is an asset.

The results of the annual Function Art contest have been summed up. The Applied Mathematics and Informatics program holds a competition among students enrolled in the Mathematical Analysis I and Mathematics for Business and Economics II courses.

On June 7th, the American University of Central Asia proudly held its Commencement Ceremony, honoring the Class of 2025. The event was a heartfelt celebration of academic achievement, personal growth, and the promising futures of this year’s graduates.

    The SEBA faculty proudly congratulates MBA student Mahnaz Nabizada for receiving the Best Presentation Award at the AUCA Student Research Conference 2025. Her thesis, titled “The Ethics and Efficacy of Paid and Unpaid Internships in Kyrgyzstan,” investigates the intersection of experiential learning, access, and labor market outcomes, contributing important insights to education and employment policy.

On a recent occasion in April 2025, the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) welcomed His Excellency Mr. Hideki Goda, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kyrgyz Republic, for a guest lecture titled “Ambassador Talks: Japan and Kyrgyzstan.

On February 7-9, 2025 NGA alumni Aiperi Iskakova (2016) and Dilshod Hamroboev (2017) participated in the prestigious Harvard College Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) Harvard Conference 2025.
