On December 23, 2015, Leon Lui from the China Universal Press and Publication Co., Ltd. brought new books about Chinese culture, history, and classical literature to the AUCA library. All books are in English.

A group of AUCA students in a Multimedia Skills course this semester have made a video about the university. The new campus is not only a space to learn, but it is also space for modern art.

AUCA library is happy to offer the upgraded collection of “Education USA” materials. If you look for the latest preparations tests (TOEFL, GRE, GMAT), handbooks on writing winning college essays, and other great books about the U.S. higher education, come the library.

On December 2, 2015 students from the Silk Road International School in Bishkek toured AUCA. Fifteen fifth-year school children visited the university’s library, gym, conference hall, media laboratory, dance studio, and classrooms.

On November 14, 2015 AUCA’s student television group AUCA TV was awarded “Best Social Youth Project of the Year” by Jashtar Camp 2015, held in the Kyrgyz National Library.

On November 20, 2015 NATO Liaison Officer/Head of Office in Central Asia Ms. Rosaria Puglisi visited AUCA. At AUCA, Puglisi saw the NATO Multimedia Corner and the University Library.

Begaiym Esenkulova, an Assistant Professor of the AUCA International and Business Law Department, conducted research at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg, Germany from May to August, 2015.

Now a junior of International and Comparative Politics, Ammar Younas spent an unforgettable summer attending the Summer School of Finland, participating in a Model UN Conference in Germany, visiting the Expo 2015 in Milan, Italy, as well as completing an internship at HRCP in Pakistan. Ammar shares with us his unique experiences and impressions.

Svetlana Dzardanova is a 2007 graduate of AUCA’s Psychology department. Originally, from Turkmenistan, Svetlana currently lives in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. After graduation from AUCA she matriculated to the MA program at Bishkek’s OSCE Academy and was offered a job at the Academy upon graduation, where she currently works as Research and Training Coordinator.
