On November 30, 2012, AUCA’s Tian Shan Policy Center (TSPC) and Kyrgyz National Agrarian University (KNAU) named after K.I. Skryabin hosted the Conference Food Security and Land Resources under a Changing Climate – Issues of Adaptation.    The Conference took place at the newly refurbished Science Library at KNAU.

On November 28th the “Donate a Book to a rural library” charity event began at AUCA.

The Department of International Relations of the KNU Law Institute hosted a presentation of the "Contemporary International Law, Materials and Cases" resource book.

On September 20th the AUCA library presented EBSCO, a new database for AUCA.

A time capsule was laid in the foundation of the new AUCA campus building to signify the beginning of construction.
