On June 6, 2024, AUCA Library and CTLT organized an “Information Literacy in Artificial Intelligence” training session, which gathered online over 50 participants from major regional universities in the country. 

  On June 7, 2024, AUCA President Timothy O’Connor and Library Director Jyldyz Bekbalaeva met with Leszek Czerwinski, Sales Regional Manager at Cambridge University Press. The discussion focused on potential collaboration to promote electronic resources and publishing opportunities for the academic community in the country.

On May 31, 2024, AUCA faculty Kamilya Kadyrova and Daniyar Karabaev and AUCA library director Jyldyz Bekbalaeva delivered a “Digital Methods in Humanities” training session for 20 faculty members from various institutions in Bishkek.

On April 23 - 24, 2024, AUCA Library in collaboration with the President’s Office organized a presentation of Dr. James Plumtree’s book “Manas” eposuna tieshel’uu izildool’oorgo janycha ilimiy serep (1856-2018)” at Naryn State University. 

 

 
On April 12th, the AUCA Library, in collaboration with the Liberal Arts and Sciences department and the President's Office, hosted a significant event: the presentation of Dr. James Plumtree's latest work, "МАНАС" ЭПОСУНА ТИШЕЛҮҮ ИЗИЛДӨӨЛӨРГӨ ЖАҢЫЧА ИЛИМИЙ СЕРЕП (1856-2018)".

On March 18-31, 2024, AUCA Librarian Tolgonai Kozhokanova visited the American University of Bulgaria (AUBG) as part of the OSUN Staff Mobility Fellowship. The program provided invaluable opportunities for professional exchange and collaboration.

    On February 1st, the Center for Civic Engagement, as part of the activities of the Fatima Club, held a Workshop: “Eco-activism: how to create an environmental project and implement it.” The goal of the workshop was to provide AUCA students and faculty with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop and implement effective environmental projects.
