AMERICAN UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL ASIA ANNOUNCES NEW PRESIDENT
The Board of Trustees of the American University of Central Asia announced today that Andrew Kuchins, a professor at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and formerly director of the Russia and Eurasia Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, will serve as the next President of the University.

American University of Central Asia appoints acting President
Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan – September 2, 2018 – The Board of Trustees of the American University of Central Asia announced today the appointment of Jonathan Becker, the Executive Vice President and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Bard College, as the new acting President of the University. Dr. Becker has been a trustee of AUCA since 2009 and has led its historic collaboration with Bard College.
