On March 4, 2014 colonel Anatolii Filippovich Myachin gave a talk about the Soviet-Afghan War of 1979-1989. During the war he was a chief of the landing party and the military trainer of governmental solders of Afghanistan. He shared his experience with the students who currently take the "History of Kyrgyzstan" course taught by Prof. Ch. Turdalieva.
