One more death has been registered in Kyrgyzstan as  of today. A 79-years-old woman died in the combined hospital of Naryn.

69 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Kyrgyzstan yesterday. 28 new case have been registered as of today and 2 of them are the medical workers from Osh. 

And 38 patients have been discharged from the hospitals today:

The amount of the active cases is 3 033 471 patients worldwide.

And 68 new cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Kyrgyzstan as of today, 22 people have been discharged from the hospitals.

The First Deputy Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov noted the following at today's briefing:

“We have more and more facts when citizens themselves turn to medical facilities with Covid-19 symptoms, not knowing where and when they got infected. It means that an infection foci is increaseaing.  It is necessary to strengthen all security measures so that sanitary requirements, home quarantine, observational regime and other approved standards are strictly observed. Do not forget that everyone takes responsibility for negligence. The situation should not get out of control, there should not be any sudden outbreaks of infection. Citizens need to wear masks in public places, public transport, in crowded places for their own safety.

There are 11 new cases of COVID-19 as of May 8, 11.00 a.m.:

"We have 32 children tested coronavirus-positive in the Republic Hospital of Infectious Diseases. There are no complications, as well as no danger to the health of children," - said the Deputy Minister of Health Nurbolot Usenbaev at the briefing.

Moreover, two employees of RSK Bank were infected. The first one is the bank employee in Bishkek, and the other one - is from the branch in Chatkal district of Djalal-Abad region.

As the KR Coronavirus Headquarters informs, the UN WFP and the Ministry of Labor and Social Development will donate 1000 tons of flour and oil to 30 000 people in Naryn, Talas, Jalal-Abad, Osh and Batken regions.

24 new cases of the coronavirus registered in Kyrgyzstan, 3 of them are medical workers. 895 - is the total amount of coronavirus cases in KR, 246 - are active cases. 23 patients are recovered as of today.

According to the Deputy Minister of Health Nurbolot Usenbaev, more than 200 COVID-19 patients were infected being in contact with their relatives. The number of infected at home is growing day by day.

«These are about 228 cases, or 30 %. There are those who got infected at work, also we have the cases when people hide information of contacts. There were a couple of cases when we could not find the source of the infection», - he said.

Usenbaev aslo commented the issue of medical workers:“Currently, 30% of medical workers are being treated in a hospital. From 224 workers with positive coronavirus, 70% have already been recovered and returned to work».

 

May 6, 2020

28 new cases of COVID-19 has been registered in Kyrgyzstan as of today, according to the Deputy Minister of Health Nurbolot Usenbaev at the morning briefing.

16 cases were confirmed in Bishkek, 2 — in Chui region, 6 — in Jalal-Abad region, 4 — in Batken region. Usenbaev also informed about the new death - a 67-year-old woman died at the Republican Infectious Diseases Hospital in Bishkek over the past day.

The total cases of the virus are - 871. Most of the infected people are recovered.

Moreover, the residents of Issyk-Kul region, who arrived from Dubai will be placed in an observation unit. Eleven people will be accommodated in the regional observation units.

As a reminder, 180 citizens arrived in Kyrgyzstan from the United Arab Emirates on May 3.

13 new cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in Kyrgyzstan as of today, according to the The Deputy Minister of Health Nurbolot Usenbaev's speech on today's briefing. He also mentioned that the epidemiological situation has stabilized in the KR.

Additionally, 25 people are discharged from hospitals today. Two patients recovered in Bishkek, 18 — in Osh, 3 — in Osh region, 2 — in Naryn region.

In total, 843 cases of coronavirus have been registered in the country, 600 people are recovered.

4 deaths - as a result of coronavirus in the Kyrgyz Republic.

An 80 years old coronavirus infected man died in Nookat, on April 5. According to the Ministry of Health, his condition worsened sharply, and he also had signs of acute myocardial infarction.

Over the past day, two more people died from COVID-19 in Osh region. The dead are a man and an elderly woman, it was informed by the Minister of Health Sabirzhan Abdikarimov at a briefing today in the morning. Earlier, a 61-year-old man died from the virus in Nookat Territorial Hospital in Osh region.

 

216 people - the total number of coronavirus infected in the Kyrgyz Republic.

69 new cases have been identified today, 3 cases were reported on April 5 and 14 cases - on April 4.

69 infected were registered in the following regions:

  • Osh region - 47 (Nookat - 42, Kara-Suu - 3, Osh - 2);
  • Jalal-Abad (Suzak district) - 13;
  • Bishkek - 5;
  • Naryn - 1;

According to the Minister of Health Sabirzhan Abdikariov, all of them were hospitalized.

The Kyrgyz Republic has reported the first death from the coronavirus. This is a 61-year-old man. He was hospitalized in the Nookat Territorial Hospital in Osh Oblast. He arrived from abroad and suffered from the diabetes.

Since last night, 9 new cases of infection were reported in KR. And 4 more case have been registered today in the morning. 130 people in total are infected with the virus.

It should be noted that the Vice-Prime Minister Altynai Omurbekova and the Minister of Health Cosmosbek Cholponbaev were dismissed from their posts by the President Sooronbai Jeenbekov on April 1, 2020. Aida Ismailova and Sabirzhan Abdikarimov are assigned to these positions.

Five new cases of coronavirus are detected today. According to Kasymbek Mambetov, The Deputy Chief of the Emergency Response Center of the Ministry of Health of KR, there are two cases in Nookat, one -in Osh, and two - in Kyzyl-Kiya. He also said that five people are in intensive care, two of them are in extremely serious condition.

In total, There are 1708 people are under the observation.

116 cases of infection are registered in KR today. Kazakhstan - 380 cases, Uzbekistan - 181. And 935 817 cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the world.

 

April 1, 2020

Two people recovered from coronavirus have been discharged from Ala-Buka Territorial Hospital today. Five people are recovered in total. Three more people were discharged in Jalal-Abad region earlier.

Moreover, four new cases of virus have been registered today. They are identified in Jalal-Abad, Chui, Suzak regions and in Karakul town. One of the infected is arrived from Russia, the other three were infected contacting with infected relatives.

According to the Coronavirus Republic Headquarters, KR has 551 artificial lungs ventilation machines.

107 cases of COVID-19 have been officially registered in Kyrgyzstan as of today. 13 new cases have been revealed today:  Bishkek -1, Naryn -3, Isyk-Kul – 2, Chui – 1, Osh – 5, Djalal-Abad -1.

10 patients infected with coronavirus were detected on March 30. All of them are registered in Jalal-Abad.

84 confirmed cases of coronavirus are registered in KR for today. 14 new cases were identified on March 27, and another 26 have been reported today. According to Kasymbek Mambetov, The Deputy Chief of the Emergency Response Center of the Ministry of Health of KR, 13 new cases were registered in Jalal-Abad region, 6 in Osh, 4 in Bishkek, 2 in the Chuy region and 1 in Naryn.

Currently, work is underway to identify people who contacted them. Mambetov also noted that today 4 886 people are in observation.

Meanwhile, the Center of Initiative Youth launched a challenge in support of doctors.

"Dear friends, don’t feel blue during the quarantine. We suggest to clap to doctors from balconies every evening at 9 PM. Let’s support our doctors!", - they have written on Instagram page.

44 cases of COVID-19 have been officially registered in Kyrgyzstan as of today. Two new cases were reported yesterday, March 25 in the afternoon. According to the head of the Public Health Department of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ainura Akmatova, six patients are in serious condition.

The number of infected people with the new coronavirus has grown by 48 thousand 321 over the last day in the world. The data is from an online map developed by scientists https://www.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6.

Moreover, during the first day of the state of emergency and curfew, 320 violators were detained, 195 of them were in Bishkek.

March 25, 2020

Starting from March 25, a state of emergency (SOE) introduced in Bishkek, Osh and Jalal-Abad (Nookat, Kara-Suu and Suzak regions). The curfew is imposed from 8 PM to 7 AM. During the current SOE it is required to follow below restrictions:

• any kind of activities from 8 PM to 7 AM outside;
• operation of all companies, except for grocery stores, pharmacies, banks and objects in the sphere of daily maintenance. The public transport (trolleybus only) will operate from 7 AM to 7 PM;
• leaving the house or observation area while being in quarantine;
• organization of mass events;
• disseminating of fake information.

Note that it is prohibited to entry banks without masks. We also kindly ask you to have the documents with you (passport, ID card, and etc). The violators of public order, non-residents of Bishkek, including foreign citizens, will be expelled at their own expenses to their place of permanent residence or outside the area where SOE is declared. Moreover, in case of breaching the regime citizens will be fined or arrested for up to 15 days.

26 new cases of coronavirus infection are registered in KR. 2 more cases were revealed yesterday in the evening. For now there are 42 confirmed cases of COVID-19. 142 people are hospitalized, 68 of them are males and 74 are females.

336,000 cases of coronavirus have been registered all over the world in total. 254 600 of them were infected outside China and 81 435 people — inside the republic.

14 641 people are died because of the virus. The number of recovered people is increasing and there are 98 333 of them, which means 5 961 people are recovering per a day.

Three more cases of coronavirus are registered in Kyrgyzstan, there are six infected people in total.

New cases have been confirmed in Nookat district of Osh region.

«These are people who visited the Umrah. Patients are isolated, they are in wards under the supervision of doctors, appropriate treatment is carried out. They have no clinical signs, no symptoms, they tested positive», - said the Minister of Health Kosmosbek Cholponbaev at a briefing.

Kosmosbek Cholponbaev noted that work is underway to identify people who contacted them.

Today, the Ministry of Health has officially announced three cases of COVID-19 in the Kyrgyz Republic. All three infected are residents of the Suzak district, Jalal-Abad region, who recently returned from Umrah in Saudi Arabia. An emergency regime has been announced in the Suzak region. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov called Kyrgyz citizens to be civilly liable, not to panic, and observe all safety precautions.

Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses, the processes of which resemble the corona. The coronaviruses include up to 40 species that infect both humans and animals. They cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). These viruses are unstable to external factors and instantly destroyed at a temperature of 56 degrees.

Coronavirus infection COVID-19 is a disease that can occur both mild and severe with specific complications that could lead to the risk of death.

The virus is transmitted by airborne droplets, as well as from various surfaces when touched, followed by infection of the human mucous membranes through the eyes, nose, and mouth.

The first cases of the disease occurred at the end of December 2019 in Wuhan, Hubei Province of China. The infection spread throughout most of China within a month. The first case of the disease out of China was reported on January 13 in Bangkok, Thailand, and a few days later in Japan. On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization announced the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

208 221 cases were recorded per March 18, 8 272 people died, 82 902 recovered from the disease. The vulnerable group - people over 60 who have chronic diseases.
