June 25, 2020

The International and Comparative Politics program aims to train young specialists who can conduct a reasoned analysis of policies and political phenomena at the local, regional, and global levels. ICP's curricula focus on raising young professionals who will contribute to positive changes and development in the Central Asian region and go global.

The faculty body consists of highly qualified professors with academic degrees from universities in Kyrgyzstan, France, Hungary, Japan, Sweden, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

The program's courses aim to multiply students' knowledge and understanding of existing methodologies for analyzing domestic and foreign policy, as well as public administration. ICP faculty create a special educational environment for students that meets modern, rapidly changing challenges. All this contributes to the development of students' critical thinking and analytical skills in written and oral forms.

In addition to basic courses on international relations and political science, the program covers a wide range of areas such as Central Asian politics, geopolitics in Eurasia, Islam and politics, international organizations, and others.

ICP graduates work in various public administration structures, international organizations, and research and analytical institutions both in Kyrgyzstan and abroad.
Many of the graduates continue their studies at master and doctoral programs in the United States, Great Britain, France, Germany, and Hungary.
