The first Education Dialogue of The Institute of Education AUCA

The Institute of Education (IOE) at the American University of Central Asia hosts the first of its Education Dialogues on the importance of designing locally responsive and globally aware interventions for systemic improvements in the education sector of Kyrgyz Republic. In an interactive roundtable format, the dialogue engaged senior officials from national and global partners of the Institute of Education to illustrate intentional local-global collaborations for research-informed practice.

An education event was hosted both in offline and online formats. The event was attended by teachers from different schools and universities in the city, and people joined virtually. The first part was dedicated to the issues of education and cooperation in this field.

 A dialogue in the format of a round table, where each speaker shared his personal experience of research and development as well as innovations in the field of education and answered questions from colleagues and guests of the event. The speakers were also able to ask questions on the topic of cooperation in the area, and the development of programs, standards and teaching aids for teachers. Thanks to the simultaneous translation system, each guest was able to get involved and participate in the dialogue.

In addition to the topics and questions about the functioning programs and projects for the development of education in the country, the possibilities of cooperation and programs for teachers of schools and universities were also discussed.
