The Anthropology, Technology and International Development program is delighted to share this year's students who have been awarded the Mary Schweitzer Scholarship for Excellence in Anthropology. 

The Mary Schweitzer Scholarship for Excellence in Anthropology has been granted to:

The Mary Schweitzer Scholarship for Active Anthropologist Award has been granted to:

Begimai Taalaibek kyzy

The Mary Schweitzer Scholarship has been established in honor of an exceptional
Professor of Anthropology Mary Schweitzer (1936-2023), who taught anthropology at
the American University of Central Asia during 2002-2003 and 2004-2005 academic
years.

The Mary Schweitzer Scholarship has been made possible by the commitment and generosity of CAA’05 Alumnae as well as Professor Mary Schweitzer, her family and
friends who donated to support students with excellent academic records and potential to
develop Anthropology in Central Asia.

We want to believe that this scholarship will encourage you to be diligent in achieving your goals further!
