Book presentation "New Cinema in Kyrgyzstan"

On December 3, the AUCA Library and Department of Television, Cinema and Media Arts hosted a presentation of the new publication "New Cinema in Kyrgyzstan". The event gathered students, faculty and representatives from other universities to meet with Sultan Usuvaliev, AUCA Professor and volume editor. He provided a comprehensive analysis of the film industry's evolution in recent years, highlighting significant institutional developments, and the economic factors shaping its future.
At the meeting, the libraries of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Kyrgyz National University, Osh State University, and Compass College received copies of “New Cinema in Kyrgyzstan”. This initiative strengthens academic collaboration and provides valuable resource for students and researchers.
