Deepening Applied Finance Knowledge with AUCA BA Alumnus and CBonds

On April 23, the BA Department held a small meeting with students interested in exploring the finance industry. Andrei Kan, an Investment Analyst at CBonds and an AUCA BA alumnus, was invited by Bermet Talasbek kyzy, instructor of the Introduction to Finance course, to share his career journey.
Andrei spoke about his professional path and demonstrated how junior analysts are expected to perform investment analysis on financial securities. Students learned about more intricate differences between debt and equity and were introduced to derivative and Islamic finance instruments available on the CBonds platform.
We thank our Andrei for dedicating his time to speak with future finance specialists. And we also thank our students for their engagement and active participation in meetings with practicing professionals!
