- How they will be achieved:

The project is planned to take place in 10 sites of seven oblasts of the country: Naryn, Talas, Issykkyl

( Balykchi and Karakol), Osh, Jalalabad, Batken ( Kadamjai and Kyzyl-Kiya), Chui, and Bishkek city and will last for three days, i.e. April 26-28. There will be 25 events focused on the promotion of the GYSD ideas in the communities and involving the youth into real actions to change the place where they live into a “Better world” More than 2500 students and community members will be involved into these events.

The coordinators of GYSD events will find the needs for each community and work out the plan. After that the action plan for 3 days will be worked out and recruitment of the youth there will be done.

Two FLEX alumni of different years per site will be responsible for the preparation and the realization of the plan in their site and will work together with some of the US DOS alumni as well as the active representatives of the youth in these oblasts. These activities will be in various formats: workshop on ecological themes, handcrafting with recycled items such as paper, plastic bottles and used banners from advertisement billboards.

The organizational team plans to shoot a film about what the alumni and the youth can do in their

communities to change the life for better before the event. The film will be shown to the participants

of the actions during the trainings and workshops the first day of the event in every site. The aim is to

motivate and raise awareness of other youth on GYSD goals through workshops, service day and

handcrafting by reusing paper and plastic as a resource. At the same time, a film about GYSD, youth

in Kyrgyzstan and their service to the community with FLEX alumni will record all these 25 events.

This film will be also dedicated to the celebration of anniversaries of 2 great programs and also will

be dedicated to those who will participate and got educated and trained on service day.

used in the communities during the GYSD events to promote the ideas of serving the community,

volunteering and protection of our environment.

Every participant of the GYSD activity will receive a GYSD pin that will be designed by the

NGO “MoveGreen” activists.

3 days of activities will be divided into 3 idea stages:

-          The First day will be dedicated to ecology of personality (self development and inner self enrichment). This day will be mainly about on HOW to change and be more open towards the green generation by inspiring and motivating youth through various activities.
