This study was conducted as part of the technical support provided to the Tourism Department by the SWITCH-Asia SCP Facility, which is funded by the European Union.

Japanese Teachers Association of the Kyrgyz Republic hosted a Japanese Speech Contest, which took place at Arabayev Kyrgyz State University on April 15th, 2023. 
 
Thirteen students participated for the beginner’s level, and twelve students participated for the middle and upper-level learners.

On May 6-7, the annual Central Asian Cup, an international grand debate tournament, occurred within the walls of AUCA (American University of Central Asia). The tournament traditionally brings together the strongest speakers from across Central Asia.

The OSUN Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) Collaborative welcomes Doug Haynes for a 90-minute, online discussion of his recent Times Higher Education article on "Liberal arts teaching should go interdisciplinary." 

At the end of April, the Anthropology Department of AUCA held a conference, "Central Asia: New Local Forms of Knowledge, Art, and Practice,” attended by scientists, researchers, and public figures from different countries.

Leveling the Learning Curve: OSUN Partners Seek to Expand the Walls of Higher Education

During the training that took place on April 25, 2023, at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) in collaboration with the Open Society University Network (OSUN), we took the time to get to know Matyas Szabo better, the Senior Program Manager at the Yehuda Elkana Center for Higher Education of the Central European University (CEU).

On May 20, a grandiose cultural event, "Kyrgyz Miracle" («Кыргызское чудо»), will be held on the lawn of AUCA, organized by the showroom "Fashion House".
