On February 2, 2025, the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) hosted a landmark event — the official opening of the Women in Tech Kyrgyzstan Chapter. This pivotal gathering, themed "Fostering Women's Leadership and Technology Development in Kyrgyzstan," brought together influential leaders, innovators, and changemakers dedicated to advancing gender equality and empowering women in the technology sector.
 

The Sustainable Development Program of the Center for Civic Engagement is proud to announce that the American University of Central Asia has received a Bronze rating from the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS), awarded by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).

A team from the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) recently participated in the prestigious international conference “Human–AI Synergy for Effective English Language Teaching of Science Communication in a Multidisciplinary, Multicultural Context”, held from November 21–23, 2024, at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

On November 12-13, 2024, Dr. Buğra Güngör, Associate Professor of International and Comparative Politics, and Dr. Görkem Atsungur, Associate Professor of International and Comparative Politics, Chair of the ICP Department, attended the 5th Annual CASNiG (Central Asian Studies Network in Germany) Conference at the Leibniz-Zentrum Moderner Orient (ZMO) in Berlin, Germany.

      On November 18th, the University of York Law School hosted the Sixth Global Day of Action for Climate Justice (GDA 6), bringing together law students and clinics worldwide to focus on the pressing issue of water in the context of the climate emergency.
