Last Friday, November 24th, marked a momentous occasion at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) as the campus came together to celebrate Thanksgiving. The evening commenced with a captivating performance by the talented individuals from the "Mirrors" theater, setting the stage for a memorable and festive night.

  On Wednesday, October 25, the International and Comparative Politics Department, in collaboration with the Office of the President, continued its prestigious Ambassador Talks Series, featuring the esteemed presence of His Majesty, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr.

On October 24, Anne Seshadri, the Public Diplomacy Office Director of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA), visited the AUCA campus. During her visit, she met with Dr. Timothy O'Connor, AUCA President, and discussed the value of educating young leaders of the region and the world for AUCA remaining on the Top universities in Central Asia.

The Student Affairs Office at the American University of Central Asia recently organized the very first AUCA Academic Battle. This two-day event showcased the intellectual prowess of students from all AUCA departments

On Thursday, September 21, the AUCA administration, headed by President Timothy O'Connor, conducted the Knowledge Day Ceremony. The President of the AUCA, Dr. Timothy E. O'Connor, and Dr. Chynarkyl Ryskulova, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, personally awarded the best students for their outstanding academic excellence with a President's List and Dean's List, respectively.

 

 
On September 14, 2023, the  Development Office and the New Generation Academy (NGA) organized an opening ceremony of the “Study With US” Program. The project is implemented by the Development Office together with NGA in the framework of partnership with FHI360 (Family Health International 360), and funded by the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs of the US State Department.

From July 24 to 28, a group of 6 students and 4 faculty from the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) participated in a five-day summer school on "Geospatial Technologies for Building Resilience" at the Central European University (CEU) in Budapest, Hungary.

The workshop, which included attendees from various departments such as Environmental Sustainability and Climate Science, Applied Geology, Economics, and Software Engineering, aimed to explore the practical applications of geospatial technologies in disaster resilience and climate change mitigation.

    On the vibrant evening of Friday, September 1, the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) transformed its front yard into a dazzling haven for music enthusiasts, all thanks to a spectacular collaboration with Coca-Cola.

In a review of the academic governance structure, the AUCA President, Dr. Timothy E. O'Connor, has initiated the creation of the new position of Dean of Academic Planning and Strategic Partnerships, which the AUCA Board of Treestes directly approved.
