December 12, 2016, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan – The Global Centre for Pluralism, in partnership with the Central Asian Studies Institute (CASI) at the American University of Central Asia, the French Institute for Central Asian Studies (IFEAC), Bishkek Humanities University and Osh State University hosted a Forum on History and Memory in Kyrgyzstan: Toward an Inclusive Society in Bishkek.
 

Shainazarova Kyzzhibek, senior of economics at the American University of Central Asia’s (AUCA), is currently completing her minor in Business Administration with the Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM) Program. We sat down to talk to her about her experience in the program.

On November 23, 2016 the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) held a signing ceremony for the University’s official induction into the SAP University Alliance.

Kanaiym Kydyralieva is an Assistant Professor who coordinates and teaches in the Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM) Program. She took a moment to talk with us about what exactly is the LSCM program, what are its goals, and who are its partners.
 

On November 14 and 15, 2016 the English Access Microscholarship Program held its first Alumni Reunion in Bishkek. Forty alumni from Osh, Naryn, Talas, Kant, Kyzyl-Kiya, Isfana, Bazar-Korgon, Leilek, Karakol and Dzhalal-Abad attended the meeting. The aim of the Alumni Reunion was to bring together Access alumni and create a sustainable platform for further communication.

On November 3, 2016 Laurier Fourniau, a young French director, screened his first feature Low Notes at AUCA.

Last week, Assistant Professor Rafael Dagold, Coordinator of Academic Advising Barbara Verchot, and PR Director Dinara Orozbaeva visited the Osh Humanities Pedagogical Institute (OGPI) to hold a pedagogy workshop with OGPI teachers and a creative writing workshop with OGPI students.

We are happy to announce that the American University of Central Asia was given the unique privilege of being the first university in Central Asia to be an Associate Member of the SAP University Alliance.

The AUCA School of Economics & Business Administration (SEBA) changed its name to reflect its autonomy and to strengthen branding.
