How to protect employees, guests and environment during the COVID-19 pandemic?

Within the framework of the PERETO project, COVID Free Guide with the focus on sustainable consumption and production (SCP) was developed for the HoReCa segment in Kyrgyzstan

 

 

The PERETO project team is pleased to present the “COVID Free Guide for the HoReCa segment” for the use of public, media and hospitality sector in Kyrgyzstan. 

It was developed the ALE “Association HoReCa Club” with the support of the American University of Central Asia (AUCA), UNISON Group, Technopolis Group and Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP) within the framework of the project “Promotion of energy security and sustainable growth through increased energy and resource efficiency in tourism SMEs in Kyrgyzstan” PERETO, which is implemented with the financial support of the European Union within the SWITCH Asia programme.

The goal of the guide – is to provide the domestic HoReCa sector with the most complete, useful and practical information to overcome the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The guide presents:
current regulatory legal acts of the Kyrgyz Republic in connection with the coronavirus;
extracts from the normative legal acts concerning the HoReCa sector with necessary clarifications;
informational and educational materials developed during the pandemic by the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic;
recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO);
glossary of important terms and definitions;
useful links to information on the topic.
The special feature of the guide is an inclusion of green practical advices on sustainable consumption and production (SCP) (see the green leaf informational blocks).
The PERETO project is aimed at promoting energy and resource efficiency in Kyrgyzstan, thus, we hope that these recommendations with help the HoReCa sector to minimize waste, electricity and water consumption, use gentle household chemicals to ensure disinfection of territories, premises, dishes, use reusable masks and dishes instead of disposable ones.

 

At the moment the COVID Free Guide is available in Russian language in PDF format. An edition in Kyrgyz will follow shortly.
