Karim-Aly Kassam, the Cornell University Professor of Environmental and Indigenous Studies in the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment, held a seminar at AUCA on December 16, titled  “A Methodology of Hope for the Climate Crises: The Role of Ecological Calendars”

On December 6 Ryan Schmedding, a scientific researcher at the US Embassy, conducted a guest lecture organized by the AUCA Center for Environmental Studies and Development, the Alliance of Universities of the Kyrgyz Republic for Green Economy and Sustainable Development (AVZUR) together with the US Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.

On November 18, 2022, the Development Office organized the "Kyrgyzstan Climate Educators Network" conference. The project was implemented by Bard College in partnership with AUCA and funded by the U.S. Embassy in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. 

On Wednesday, November 2, MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) program held a MAT Student & Alumni Event, Classes of 2019-2022 gathered together at AUCA for the warm communication and further attendance to intensive seminars what were prepared on this day.

On June 16, 2022, the MAT (Masters of Arts in Teaching) of the American University of Central Asia was awarded by “Best Programme” Award by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and The Agency for Quality Assurance in the Field of Education “EDNET”.

On June 11, a graduation ceremony was held at the American University of Central Asia.

The project is held at AUCA with the support of the United States Department of State in partnership with International Center Meridian in Washington.

From June 12-19th the workshop on Modernizing Curriculum towards the Goals of UN SDGs for Central Asian Universities on "Climate Action" and "Sustainable Cities and Communities" will be held at AUCA.
