It is time to think about future profession, to prepare for exams and tests. The only concern every high school student has in mind is to make the right choice, become a worthy and sought-after specialist.

Mathilde Mallet is an exchange student from France. She studies Social and Political sciences, majoring in Political Humanities at Sciences Po, Dijon. Before she didn't know anything about Central Asia, and now she is discovering many new things never known and thought about before. Choosing the university in CA, she realized the AUCA was the only option for her and a great opportunity to take classes related to her major, to discover new topics and different ways of thinking.

Prof. Salvija Mulevičienė lectured graduate and undergraduate students of AUCA on The Modernization of EU Insolvency Law topic between November 25-29.  She also introduced students to the Dual Degree opportunity with Mykolas Romeris University.

Ms. Iliana Zazueta Cultural/Public Affairs Specialist at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul and her colleague Mr. Reda Mohamed Ayadi met with Afghan students and the University Administration.

On Friday, November 1st, 2019, tutors, staff, and faculty and administration supporters gathered to celebrate the eighth “birthday” of the Writing & Academic Resource Center. Since its creation in 2011, the WARC has grown to a staff of 27 tutors who collectively conduct over 200 hours of tutoring a week, both online and in person.

We give deepest thanks to all who make the operation of the WARC possible, and we look forward to what the next year will bring.

Open Access Program coordinator at EIFL International Library Consortium held a one-day training on “Open Science” for faculty, librarians, and researchers from AUCA and other institutions of Kyrgyzstan.

On Saturday, October 26, the grand opening of the AUCA Technical School of Innovation was held. This is the only educational institution in Kyrgyzstan and region that provides an opportunity to receive an education equivalent to university programs after the 9th grade of secondary school. 

Students from EMSD and Agro-ecology Integrated Crop Management courses visited the Lyceum, where specialists in organic agriculture, machine operators and textile handicraft workers trained. The purpose of the visit was to observe greenhouse, biogas technology, composting and storage for products.
